Website Kick-start How-To – Part 1 – 3 Basic Elements

In this topic, I’ll provide brief and yet a complete set of guidelines that covering from how to prepare you or your company in setting up a website, to engage a web services provider and finally to operate it as well as fully utilize it to benefits you or your organization interest. Let’s start with the 3 Basic Elements.

To have a website, there’re three basic stuffs you need to have. Those are Domain Name, Web Hosting and, of course, a website.

Step 1: Get a Domain Name
This is the first step you should be started with. A domain name has to be short, meaningful and easy to remember.

Step 2: Get a Web Server
Engage a hosting provider to host your domain name (web server). Web and mail services will be included in the service.

Step 3: Put Up Your Website
Engage a web developer to have your website developed and have it uploaded to your web server.
